El poder mal empleado siempre tratará de poner muros a la libertad natural del alma humana. Y creo que puede lograrlo. Muchos cubanos han sido víctimas de los muros. Los muros en muchas formas: amenazas, cárcel, golpizas, actos de repudio, expulsiones o muros, literalmente hablando. Miedos, desidia, inmovilismos, indiferencia, ignorancia. Todo lo que frena la libertad de la persona es un muro.
Existe por lo menos una diferencia entre los muros. Unos, hay que construirlos poco a poco, en el interior de la persona. Hay que sembrarlos, cultivarlos dentro. Hacer que el miedo, la desidia o la indiferencia crezcan dentro de nuestro ser en dimensiones paralizantes, es poner muros dentro. Son muros muy dañinos porque dominan la voluntad humana y hacen que nuestros criterios de juicio y nuestras decisiones y acciones se subordinen al espacio que nos dejan. Indiscutiblemente son más efectivos para el mal porque los muros interiores no son su responsabilidad. Son responsabilidad del que se ajusta a ellos.
Tranquiliza mi conciencia y me da paz que nuestro muro tuvo que ser de otro tipo: fuera de nosotros. Para mí significa que no nos ajustamos a los de dentro. Pero resulta que los muros de afuera no son tan efectivos para quien pretende usarlos con el fin de paralizar la libertad humana. Si no hay muros dentro, los de afuera no funcionan como tales. Se derrumban ante la libertad interior. Y esos muros sí son totalmente responsabilidad del que los hace.
I wish more people would write blogs like this that are actually interesting to read. With all the crap floating around on the web, it is a great change of pace to read a blog like yours instead.
This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

I gave up cigs a week ago and it is beginning to hit me now. My wife tells me I can’t get it done however I’m so determined of this I will. This morning I started having painful sensations in my gut and I really would like a drag. I wont give up given that I’m quitting for my young children. I’m lucky to have the electronic cigarette cartridges. It is a big bonus to me.
