Queridos amigos y amigas:
La revista Convivencia, a menos de tres años de su vida, comienza la andadura de Concursos literarios y artísticos, junto al muro de una familia que nos ha dado un hogar sin fronteras. Después de tres años encubando y salvando las distancias, podríamos remedar al insigne Fray Luis de León luego de pagar duro por traducir el Cantar de los Cantares: “Como decíamos ayer”.
Esta es otra noche de resurrección. Lo sabemos. Hoy no hemos podido dejar de recoger la herencia de aquellos Concursos Vitral que durante más de una década apreciaron y promovieron la creación literaria cubana. Entonces desde nuestra Catedral primigenia, ahora desde este catedral de las yaguas de todos los que reconstruyen el tejido cívico nacional.
Toda resurrección tiene algo de la vida anterior, sin duda, pero abre la puerta a una vida nueva. Esta es una pequeña rendija para la luz en la sociedad civil de Cuba. Que se une a las múltiples ranuras que alumbran la novedad en el interior de la Isla. Abertura a la creación humanística y a la pericia académica. Otro modo de servir al alma de la nación. Un homenaje a los que de forma martirial ofrecen su vida por ella, por nosotros, como Zapata, como Fariñas y otros.
Si un Concurso tiene el futuro de su jurado o de sus premiados el de Convivencia vive ya en la mayor plenitud desde su semilla. Gracias a los que creyeron y confiaron y enviaron sus fragmentos de espíritu y letras. Gracias a los que discernieron lo más fino y ofrecieron su tiempo en el ejercicio de premiar que siempre compromete. Jurado de lujo, con Santiesteban como ángel de continuidad con la Libertad de la Luz de hace tres años cuando aramos bajo techo; Yoani, Pardo y Reinaldo como la novedad de estos tiempos de siembra a la intemperie. Maikel los presidió en el amor tejiendo convivencias para la vendimia futura en el hogar nacional.
Pero primero, ahora, se ciernen signos de dolor en la casa Cuba y, en su seno de gestación, palpitan oasis de vida, como este. Sin embargo, sabemos, que la última palabra es de la Vida. El curso de formación cívica de las Tertulias de Convivencia que hoy culmina su tercer año y este mínimo concurso inaugural pudieran ser otras simientes de la cosecha por venir.
